INFORMATIONS ABOUT OUR COMPANY AND OUR PHILOSOPHY

You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water. Radindranath Tagore

When I started the first training modules photography in 2012, the port of Ghent was one of the very first places where I went to photograph. The port immediately fascinated me. The ships drag you in thought to all kinds of foreign places where they pick up or deliver their goods. When I started the first training modules photography in 2012, the port of Ghent was one of the very first places where I went to photograph. The port immediately fascinated me. The ships drag you in thought to all kinds of foreign places where they pick up or deliver their goods. Departing from the lock of Terneuzen, they sail on an eye-catching channel to Ghent. The roll-on-roll off ship Begonia from DFDS, was one of the first boats I got acquainted with. At that moment the dream started to show the story of this ship and what would I like sail with them on a trip to Sweden. In 2018 I started the final photography modula at KISP Mariakerke. My portfolio work could not be anything other than a reportage about DFDS. Eventually this work taught me to discover the fascinating world of the port and ships. So much, that my hunger for more is encouraged...
